My fear is passing....thanks in large part to you kind folks answering my questions (no matter how insane they may be).  I have PRAYED, researched, asked questions....etc, etc.  I am becoming more and more comfortable with my decision.  Now, if only the next few months will fly by (not wishing my life away....but)...Please keep praying for me....I need it.

Much Love,

CJ

I'm so glad to hear you are becoming more comfortable with your surgery plans.  I hope you will love your sleeve as much as I love mine.

As much as I worried about my surgery, it was uneventful.  I had little pain and no nausea due to the  anti-nausea meds I requested. The first few days, I felt like I had the flu, tired and achy.   The first few months post op were not fun, but manageable, as I got accustomed to my new tummy. But all and all, I am just delighted with my decision.  I lost 225 pounds, and went from 385 pounds to 160 pounds  and a BMI of 60 to 24.

I wish you every success!

Carol
