Not sure where I need to be...

I had surgery on October 6th, 2014, so I am 5 1/2 months out.  What caloric in-take and carb in-take did your NUT recommend at this point?  I have been in a stall for several weeks now and can't seem to get the scale moving again.

FWIW, I had my first stall between months 5-6.  I think it was my body's way of trying to keep up.  I was/am eating between 700-900 calories.

According to MyFitnessPal, which I just started using, I had 1058 calories yesterday, which may be the issue if you all are only doing between 700-900.  What did your NUT recommend for carbs?  I had surgery in Mexico and am pretty much going this alone so any advice is appreciated.

My plan has no carb restriction (say what)???  but I try to keep to 50g...my surgeon's plan is very lenient.  I don't really follow it.  I made my own plan by listening to the vets here.  Probably not the best idea, but it works for me.

I had 98g of carbs total yesterday so perhaps that is my issue.  I am going to work on that.  Thanks for your help!  I would love to hear other people's input on this too though.

I'm only a few weeks out but my plan calls for calories between 600-800, carbs they said less than 100, but I try to keep it around 50 or less, and everything I eat must have less than 7g of sugar in it per serving. Protein as high as I can get it, they want me around 50-60 this early but later will have a goal of 80g per day.

98 grams of carbs seems to be very high so early out of surgery.

My RD did not give guidelines for carbs, but I tried to keep them around 30 grams for the first few months out of surgery.  Now they're around 40-50 grams at 15 months out.

I checked my tracking on MFP for that timeframe and I was targeting 900-1000 cals per day. I was walking 30 mins per day 5-6 days per week. Goals were at least 80g protein and 64 oz water and carbs under 55g.

Your range seems reasonable to me, but are you getting enough protein and water? I've had my best success with lowering my carbs and upping protein. When I have too many carbs everything comes to a standstill.

Thank you guys for your replies!  I am getting about 60-75g of protein a day.  I could probably step that up some, but I really hate protein shakes and every protein bar I have tried tastes chalky to me, so I'm having a hard time getting it in.  I do drink a lot of water though, as much as I can throughout the day.  I really appreciate your help!
