The heading says it all. This is the first time since my surgery that I actually feel like I didn't make a bad decision to have it. I hadn't been on a scale (husband and I have been traveling) since 2/17. Weighed myself at a Winn-Dixie in Florida that had an old Toledo scale inside. Could have knocked me over with a feather! Almost a third of the way to my goal weight.

Have to go now and update my tracker!

Thank you all for your kind comments. I realize that the sleeve is doing most of the work right now; all I've had to do so far is nibble carefully on the right foods. As healing continues, I will have to take more responsibility for portions. Also need to work on my activity and exercise levels, which are almost nonexistent after my illness. But today really gave me a great boost to start working harder on my deficits.
