In the morning I eat two eggs or protein shake. Lunch I eat some turkey and dinner is usually some chicken with salad. I know I am not getting all of my protein in, but I just can't stomach the shakes right now. I go back to doctor Monday and am dreading this. I have lost about 30 pounds so far but the scale has not moved at all for a month.
And how much liquid?

I'd make it your mission to get all of your protein in. In my opinion, you shouldn't be eating non-protein food like salads until you CAN get all of your protein in.

There are way more sources of protein than just chicken, turkey and eggs. There are also many different kinds of protein shakes available. If one thing doesn't work for you, another may. You may also be eating too few calories - and protein is what you need to use to increase those calories.
Just hang in there! I lost most of my weight in the first 6 weeks. Since then it has been SUPER slow going. If you stay on program, you have to lose. The danger is in getting discouraged because of the slow loss and starting to eat things you shouldn't. Sometimes adding variety will work but make sure that variety is protein. Good Luck! This is a long hard road.
