When did you get post op back pain, What helped?

walking is really the best thing, limbers you up.  If you have access to a treadmill, I recommend you try that.  you can use the sides of the treadmill to help keep your back straight and take a lot of jarring motion out of walking.  some icey hot rub is nice too (biofreeze is my favorite)

I also developed back pain around that time.  My job requires me to sit alot.   I read it was because of the amount of weight loss in my core.   I had to do light resistant exercises to strenghten my core.  I am now 12 weeks out and I do not get back pain a lot.

Thanks so much for the response.  It is encouraging for me to hear that your pain has improved.  That gives me hope that mine will as well.  Once I am cleared to begin ab / core exercises again I think that will help!
