After waiting for 16 months from my referral to my orientation...

After waiting for five months from my orientation...

I HAVE A SURGERY DATE!  MARCH 25th!!

I'm totally excited and totally scared and I think that's the exact right way to feel about this.  It's been over two years of thinking and waiting and working and learning... it's a little hard to believe that in just over a week I'll finally have my turn sitting on the loser's bench!

Thank you to all of you here for all your stories and questions and before & afters. You've all helped me learn so much and get to this place where I am ready, willing and able to step through the door and start my new post-sleeve life.  Yippee!

You are on your way!!! Everything should happen pretty quickly for you now. By this time next year, you should have lost a significant amount of weight. Good luck to you!

Congratulations! It was a 3 year journey for me, in and out of the program until I finally buckled down and got determined! So worth it!
