Well.....it's been a really long time since I have posted on here.  I realized this morning that today is my 7 year surgiversery.  There have been ups and downs and high and low pointsI dropped 90 lbs and was thrilled with that.....still wanted to lose about 50 more.  Then I hit a stall and started slipping on the program.  Over the course of 2 years I gained back about 15 lbs. ...ws finding it really easy to snack a lot and eat around the sleeve.  I just didn't feel that restriction unless I really ate a big meal. Christmas I decided that things had to change and I had to get back on track.  I'm happy to say I am back on track!!! I've been on a high protein/low carb diet and I'm down 25 lbs since Christmas.  I am feeling the restriction of the sleeve again and feeling pretty good about that.  Right now I'm at a bit of plateau but I'm committed to getting the rest of the weight off.

pre-op 265  lbs.    day of surgery 252  lbs.     curent 187 lbs.

Thanks for sharing your story. It is good to hear that your sleeve is still giving you the restriction 7 years down the road.

I'm glad you are back on track.

I agree with Cappy- it is reassuring to see someone much further out still able to have adequate restriction, even after a stint of off plan escapades. I am glad to see you have found your mojo again and pulled off 25. Congrats on that for sure!
