What would you do?
Since you are self-pay anyway, have you considered the DS? If you want the best shot at getting to your goal weight without having to weigh or measure, the DS is your best bet. If the re-sleeve does not work the DS would be your 4th surgery so why not skip the re-sleeve and go straight to the DS?

I have read every post on this thread and I really have followed all your points. And my answer to your original question, having read everything, is no! You should not have a third surgery.
You probably won't like my reasons but please believe they are not intended judgementally.
My conclusion is that you are not using your tools, sleeve or band as you should.
You say the band was ideal. You were sorry to lose it. It worked for you. But from everything you have written it did NOT work. It physically prevented you from eating properly so not only was your life unpleasant but you also caused damage to the oesophagus. You also never trained yourself to eat a measured portion and walk away. I cringe to read you ate three bites and had to stop! No band shouid ever be that tight. I can eat all foods, some need a bit more care than others. I could always eat more than I should but I usually choose not to.
Now you are sleeved. All I know about the sleeve is what I read on here. Time and again people post that after the first year or so, they could easily eat more than they should, but they choose not to. Some people post that eating more wouid be very easy as, in sleeve terms, their stomach is larger than that of some other but they still lose weight. The sleeve is still very considerably smaller than the originsl stomach.
What both banded and sleeved people have in common is portion control. Some measure every mouthful, others don't. Personally I don't. But what I do is to check regularly. Every month or two, I spend a few days when I measure everything. And I usually find my portion sizes have crept up.
Everything you have written seems to indicate you are expecting too much from your surgery. I know you say your stomach is too big, but it still a very small stomach. I am afraid mist if the work comes from us. Perhaps an over-tight band led you to believe surgery gives more help than it does.

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
Have you considered that because you had far too much restriction with the band that you are misinterpreting the normal (or, perhaps slightly less than normal) restriction of the sleeve? If you are expecting to feel the same type of restriction that you had with a band that was overfilled or misplaced, you are undoubtedly going to be disappointed.
I have worked with a number of clients who have expressed how different the restriction of a sleeve or pouch feels than a band that they and previously. If you relied solely on your body forcing you to stop eating, then you never learned how to portion your foods yourself (and if you aren't measuring your food, I sincerely doubt that you are truly eating only 800 calories).
People here truly want you to be successful, but it is difficult when you insist that you are doing everything right when you won't even measure and track your food (would you really jump into surgery before exhausting all other possibilities?!?) and that the sleeve you hage is utterly useless (which, clearly, physically, it is not).

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
This is a great response, Kate.

I think you should get thee to a surgical room immediately. Have you considered revising to a DS?
Would I do it? No, but I'm only 15 months post surgery and what do I know?
