You look amazing. I wish I had started my journey when my babies were still babies. Best of luck to you on the rest of your journey.

If you feel like quitting, think of why you started.

That's one lucky baby to have such a healthy and happy mom.

It's gratifying to know that you're looking at this pregnancy as a temporary (and joyful) pause in your WL efforts. Once, at an OA meeting, a young woman broke down and wept because she had just found out she was pregnant and was convinced all her weight loss would be for nothing. I often wonder how she's doing.

It really helped that my bariatric team and my OB were supportive and positive about it.  I walked into my 6m post op appointment at my surgeon's goal weight of 60%EWL and they congratulated me and handed me a packet of info on how to have a healthy pregnancy.  My OB is also a sleever - so that right there is a huge bonus.  She understands the psychology of it as well as the dietary needs.

Being pregnant in the 230s is SOOOOO different than pregnant at 350+.  I feel so much better and have less aches and pains than I did non-pregnant at my old weight!

So happy for you!

My husband had VSG surgery 3 weeks after me - it's so great to have a partner in life to do this with - we help keep each other on track - especially now - two years later!!
