NSV - Mammogram
Great job rockin' the standard wrap! I wonder if the other women wondered why you were so joyful waiting for your mammogram. Congratulations on doing so well!

What a fantastic NSV! It must have felt incredible to fit in the gown! I love hearing about wonderful NSVs like this. It makes me smile super wide!
In trying to have a child, Hubby and I did invitro fertilization. With me at 280 lbs (no comorbidities). I was shoved from pillar to post with the stupid hospital gowns. So much so, that I sewed my own gowns; I sewed one suitable for IVs (ties at the top of the sleeve for easy removal) and one that could carry me through general tests (reversible too). I brought my own gowns with me to every single hospital and clinic for my procedures. The techs were impressed with the quality of what I'd done and the fact that I took the initiative to be comfortable, because they didn't always have plus-sized gowns that would fit properly.
These days, with my weight loss, I no longer need my own gowns or the plus-sized ones. But I can certainly relate to the MO woman sitting in that waiting area, trying desperately to keep herself covered in the gowns that probably don't fit well and make us all super uncomfortable. My heart goes out to her... and all of us who've been in those shoes.
