I also posted on the Lightweights board but thought I should post here too!

First time posting on the menus post :) So hopefully I don't do too much info ;) I am still struggling with getting in my water and protein but am working on it! It's crazy because prior to surgery I LOVED sweets but now I am getting so tired of sweet things and I think that is making it harder to get my shakes in. 

How many carbs is a good amount at this time? I am 2.2 weeks post op.. 

B: Kroger non fat sour cream 1/2 tbs

Wendy's chili 1.5 tbs- 4g

Kroger thin slice deli cheese .25 slice - 1g

L: Nothing. My Nona(gma) had surgery so was visiting her

S: Reese's Protein Shake- 32g

D: haven't ate yet but plan on 

1 or 2 tbsp of boiled chicken- 7g

2 tbsp picante

1/2 slice of kroger deli cheese- 1g 

1-2 tsp of non fat sour cream 

 

This would bring my protein total to 45 grams for the day. I know I am lacking 35g but I think this is actually the most I have gotten since surgery. I may add a snack later if need be. My calories are 370. All of this is pureed, too. My liquids are not high at this point but I am hoping to get more in before bed. I have never been a big drinker so it is hard to force myself to drink when not thirsty. I may try some decaf tea with stevia as well. I also have to take my vitamin tonight.

Great day for me, I hit 50 lbs lost.  So proud of my choices and the direction I am going. 

Breakfast - egg beaters 1/4 cup and 2oz grilled pork loin chop

Lunch -  1/2 Chinese takeout - beef and broccoli- not the best choice, meat was stringy and very sweet sauce

Dinner - black bean burger in lettuce - Mooyah - so good.  Really a big bean burger would have liked a thinner patty. 

Snack - Premier Protein drink - still struggling to get my protein in and powders just gag me

vitamins - on track

water - need to do better

exercise - gym 25 minutes cardio and 10 minutes strenght
