Shoe size after weight loss
Hello fellow sleevers :)
I just recently had surgery and was feeling my feet fitting into my shoes a bit better since the start of my process. With the significant weight loss, do you lose a size or two? Currently I wear a men's 14 and its a drag to find good/stylish shoes for a good price. I would love to be able to fit into 13s again and maybe even squeeze into some 12s eventually!
If any of you have experienced this Id love to hear your experience!
Some do, some don't. I wear a women's size 10 which is what I wore before I lost 200 pounds. I still love my feet

100 lost - I went from a 12WW women's down to an 11.5W now...but alas, 11.5W is hard to find so I am stuck with too-loose 12Ws for now.
I noticed the greatest change in the width needed.

I wear a 14 EEEE, and didn't get smaller after surgery. 13s are fairly easy to find, but 14s are a lot harder, so I know where you are coming from.
I'm lucky that I have a New Balance factory outlet near me, and they stock really large and wide sizes. Great, comfortable shoes, and good deals at the outlet.
For dress shoes, I always used Allen Edmonds. Excellent shoes, US made, available in very large and wide sizes, and available in a few malls and direct, online.

My feet did get smaller, but really only in the width direction. I went from wearing men's sneakers to women's sneakers! Woo.

I am so glad the OP asked this question. I have noticed that my walking shoes, which I could barely stuff my feet into before, now are loose! :-)
