Meals at work
im interviewing for a job, thinking of trying to go back to work after several years.
What do you all take to work to eat? I usually eat 6 times a day because of blood sugar issues. I need snack ideas and lunch ideas. I did notice they have a small refrigerator in the office but I won't always be in the office. Help!!!!!
thanks for any suggestions

Beef jerky, Quest bars, yogurt, cheese sticks, roasted edamame, tuna packs. My work has a cafeteria with an awesome salad bar so I typically have a small salad with some type of protein on top (salmon, turkey, tuna) for lunch. I also bring a gallon of water and make my own Crystal Light to sip throughout the day. Good luck! xoxo

I usually take a little thing of leftovers and just warm it up. But, I also have jerky, cheese, P3 packs (they are from Oscar Meyer, I think, and have a lunch meat, cheese and some nuts). I love mozzarella, prosciutto and basil rolls. I found it by the specialty cheeses at the grocery store. 3 oz, 20 grams of protein. I usually eat it with 5-8 Wheat Thins.
Good luck on your interview!
I use the P3 packs they have nuts, meat, and cheese, they are a life-saver as a snack with 14 grams of protein. You can find them by the lunchables. I drive a lot through the day running errands so I invested in a very small ice cooler to keep my snacks and lunch cool. I do a lot of roast beef/ham/turkey and cheese roll ups. Hope this helps!
If you are on the road for work you might want to invest in a personal size cooler and ice packs to help keep snacks fresh in the car. I don't trust co-workers not to steal food from the fridge so I have always carried a lunch box with an ice pack and kept it at my desk. That way I knew my lunch was available when I had my lunch break.

I eat 6 times a day too because of blood sugar issues. I'll repeat what other people have said: beef jerky, almonds, string cheese, yogurt, protein bars for snacks. Lunch, especially early out, were packets of tuna or canned chicken mixed with a bit of mayo, salad shrimp mixed with a bit of ****tail sauce and leftovers from the night before (because there are ALWAYS leftovers!).
I usually bring dinner left overs but I always keep a supply of almonds, cheese, yogurt, tuna, peaches, puddings and Quest Bars. But these are strictly for emergencies. I usually have a protein shake for my 10AM snack. I have a small little blender here at work. You need to purchase an insulated lunch bag. They work great to keep food cold. I always add an ice pack for extra coolness!
