Liquids won't give you a full sensation. They go through your stomach with little to no resistance. When you start with pureed foods, you will get your signal to stop eating. Eat slowly so your stomach doesn't signal full before it really is. You will know you've had enough when you (1) actually feel full, (2) you get a mild crampy stomach pain, or (3) some other signal from your stomach (I only get the first two). Stop eating immediately when you get your signal. If you keep eating, you will hurl.

When I started eating solid food.  I didn't feel full when I was on liquids.  I rarely feel full now, since I don't eat until that point - I just eat what I measure.  In fact, when I do feel full I know I've eaten too much!

I don't know about the others, but full for me is a completely new feeling post vsg as opposed to pre vsg. I do admit that I miss the old full feeling and I really don't like the new full feeling, so I do my best to avoid it.

You'll feel that restriction or fullness most likely with either soft solids or when you move to regular solid food. Just be aware that the too full feeling might feel like food wants to come back up your throat. You really want to try to stop well before you get to that!

The first time I felt full was when I ate my first scrambled egg. I ate less than half of it and I was done!
