100 pounds GONE

I lost 100 pounds since my pre-surgery diet in December 2013.  The weight loss has slowed and the scale has been evil playing mind games but I just kept following my plan and this morning I was rewarded by the scale.

My friend wants to celebrate this milestone which was a nice suggestion but the accomplishment is its own reward.

Now onward to my next goal... 180's which I almost hit today.

Dori's song from "Finding Nemo" has helped me when the goings been tough...  Just keep swimming!

Congratulations May I ask what was your pre-diet???? My doctor wanted me to eat beans and vegetables chicken maybe  once a month. I couldn't do it I change to high-protein Atkins. Thanks for letting me know what your pre-diet consists of.

Wow!  Congratulations are in order.  You must be feeling very proud to have lost so much.  Keep on the plan and reward yourself with something you've always wanted.

My pre-surgery diet was high protein, clean, whole foods with as much plant-based foods as possible...  muesli with protein powder, beans, lean meats, lots of veggies and fruit.  I made protein shakes for breakfast with half a frozen banana.

After surgery,  I focused on getting in my protein and water which was a struggle.   I sipped Pure Protein shakes during meal times and sipped water or Propel when it was drinking tkme.  I had only protein for a long time because I couldn't fit anything else.

Nice job!!  And I love the fact that you believe "accomplishment is its own reward".  Great attitude

You probably "celebrate" this milestone every day:  every time you climb stairs without panting; when you fit clothes that you never imagined you could wear; when you blow your doctor away with your increased health.   THOSE are the celebrations that count!

Keep up the great work
