Cashews
I would avoid cashews. As far as nuts go they are the worst ones to choose. If I'm craving a crunch I go with lightly salted almonds or the white cheddar crisps they sell on bariatric advantage. But even then, it's very sparingly. I'll also have a couple raw baby carrots with a meal but only a couple because of the sugar content.
Cashews are very high calorie, as all nuts are. I could eat a billion calories worth of cashews in a day.

I keep raw almonds in my desk and in my car so I always have them as a go to. 160 calories in an oz and 6 grams or protein. I'm not snacking as much as I used to early on but I will use an 1 oz for a meal sometimes. Its better than trying to find somehting on the fly. And for some reason, they really sit in my stomach and make me feel full for quite some time.
I have a problem when it comes to nuts, as I can't stop. If I do eat nuts, they have to be portioned out in single servings, without more available. I have found that pistachios, still in the shell work better for me, though. There are 45 in a 1 oz. serving, which is generous as nuts go. Working at deshelling each one keeps me from eating them by the handfuls.
