I'm so excited that I get to start the soft food stage later this week. This includes chicken and turkey (ready for some meat). Now I just need to decide what to try first to see if I can tolerate the softer foods.

I started with boiled egg, ground chicken, ground turkey, flaky fish.....before I start eating white meet chicken.

Ground meat was more difficult to tolerate for a while, believe it or not.  I highly recommend slow cooked, tender meat (think crock pot).  Definitely shy away fom chicken breast - too dry and dense.  INstead, call dibs on the thigh.

Rotisserie chicken went down well.  I can only eat white meat and it was super moist.  I do add some gravy or broth to moisten it more but can easily eat it on it's own.  Good luck to you!!

that chicken breast that comes in the small cans mixed w/ some reduced fat mayo and BLENDED so its like chicken salad.  I have already been allowed to have this on the 'pureed' phase.  It was very tasty after having ONLY protein shakes for so long.
