Anyone skipped chewable multivitatimins after getting sleeved and went straight to the capsule multivitamins? I have sampled all of the big name chewables and I just can't stomach them.

Ask your surgeon about this. The ASMBS recommends that we use a chewable for the first 3-6 months post op.

I did.  It was uncomfortable for a few days, but not unbearable.

You won't be able to swallow large pills right after surgery. Your stomach will be swollen after surgery and thats why they commend chewables. I'm taking Centrum chewables and they are pretty good. Orange flavored.

I started taking Thorne Bariatric w/iron multi-vitamins 2 weeks after surgery.  I took one at a time for the first month or so.  They were part of the line-up of vitamins offered by my surgeon's office.

I did gummies for a month,  but switched back to swallowables as soon as the gummies were gone. It was too much like eating candy to me. Plus, my regular meds for which there were no chewable options were bigger than the vitamin anyway.

I didn't have anything for a week after surgery, then when straight to the Bariatric Advantage capsules. Apparently they have a special gel outside that starts breaking down on contact with saliva vs stomach acid.

Bayer One A Day now has gummie vitamins...a few different formulas....might be an option.
