Warm Ricotta ..... 3 TBSP ricotta, 1 TBSP sauce and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese .... Heat to warm and melt cheese ...... I tolerated it very well .... At first I couldn't eat it all but a few little bites ... I ate with a baby spoon!

I totally bypassed pureed and went to soft and tender the day I came home from the hospital, but I do second the recommendation for ricotta.  It's still a favorite of mine.

scrambled egg was my first and it went down fine. But I think you haven't been sleeved if you haven't tried the Ricotta Bake ;)

12 days post-op now.  First pureed food was blended lentil soup (eating vegetarian in this phase; normally eat vegan).  No problems swallowing, ingesting 1/2 cup, digesting or eliminating that or anything that followed (split pea soup, applesauce wit protein powder, cottage cheese, egg whites, oat bran, malt-o-meal, green beans, berries.  Even tried a string cheese stick (chewing thoroughly) and peanut butter. No issues.  Seriously beginning to wonder if something is wrong with me, as this seems to be unusual from other posts I've read...I seem to be eating constantly (or my stomach starts to have physical hunger pangs).  I'm confused, but the weight's coming off (11 lbs) and hair loss is barely above the norm for curly-haired chicks.  Anyone have similar experiences?

My 1st pureed food was Campbells Hearty Bean and Ham soup. I think it was the best meal I had in my life too ;)

Thanks for the ideas. My plan says I can start puréed tomorrow. Just a little nervous after being on liquids for past 2 1/2 weeks (pre-op and post op).
