fluids first 2 weeks post-op
I was sleeve last Tuesday, i am now easily meeting my fluid goals for the day,i can drink a premier shake (11 oz) in 2hours, I can drink 30 oz water in 4 hours.....I don't feel any restriction, don't feel any issues.....Is this normal? There is no way I could already have stretched my new sleeve with just fluids right ?
There is no way you could have stretched your sleeve with just fluids. Everybody is different and your sleeve is very temperamental, sometimes it might trick you into thinking that it is healed and then the next week it feels like you can't drink or eat anything. I say this because at almost 6wks post op it has happened to me several times. Just yesterday water was hurting me and then today all is good. All is good...good luck
