The dreams have started

I've read quite a few posts during my research and pre-op life before having my surgery and I never really understood how one dreams about eating food. Until now, I'm 5 days out and have had 2 food dreams, one where I was eating a "new" wafer oreo lol and one where I was eating Doritos, both times I remembered I am not supposed to have these things and spit them out. I find it hilarious how my mind is working through this change.

Try switching over to dreaming about looking great in a bathing suit in the Aruba on your post goal vacation!  It's attainable now!

I still have food dreams every once in awhile.  I even, though rarely, dream about smoking, even though I quit more than 32 years ago.  I wake up slightly panicked, then realize it was a dream and relax.  Who knows why?

Yup, I had wonderful dreams about crunchy, salty, delicious wavy Lays potato chips. I'm sure the dreams will subside as time goes by.  It is a big change, amazing how the brain works.

It's good to hear that I won't always dream about food :)

I had one last night, and I'm 4 1/2 years out.  Must be the cycle of the moon!  I was eating bread.  Just plain old slices of white bread.  Using it to sop up something on my plate.  Go figure!
