Tremours for the vets
Hi,
I was just doing a search to see if anyone else was having issues with tremors and found this thread from a few months ago. I developed a tremor in my left leg - also not one that can be seen but I definitely feel it. I'm just wondering if you were able to get it resolved with potassium? I've had my labs done but nothing was out of the norm aside from my B12 being too high. I stopped supplementing and now its down but the tremor is still there.
Labs are now good but the tremor in my leg is worse it is now viable neurologist says its Parkinson's not sure if I agree but I am waiting till my next appointment to see if meds are needed please let me know how you come out take care......Connie

I hear ya I know how crazy it is, as far as my symptoms they have stayed the same, I think maybe a slight internal quiver kind of like chills when your cold, other than that its the same I see another neurologist the last of September, what is weird is that if I look at it or move it it stops for a while I catch myself tensing my leg and if I make it relax it quits, its nuts and it does wear you out, I will let you know if I find out anything in Sept, hope you find out something soon and get some relief have they given you any diagnosis at all yet? I obviously don't check in here often enough - just seeing this now! It's the same for me with looking at it or moving it - it stops. I notice that its worse when I am concentrating on something. Especially driving. I had to drive 8 hours the other day and my leg drove me nuts. Now I am sometimes noticing that my arms and hands shake in the morning. I thought maybe it was a blood sugar thing but tested normal range. I have been to my regular Dr. - he did lots of blood work looking for a cause and didn't find anything. He gave me some meds to take and said if they work then its not Parkinson's. They don't work. :-(
I have an appointment with neurologist in September too. Let's stay in touch!
Yes definitely stay in touch my shoulder quiver comes and goes but my leg tremor is always there but worse if I am concentrating on something like typing lol So far my hands are ok, Be kind to yourself, they tell me to try not to get stressed lol, and make sure I get sleep, hang in there they will find an answer soon, hugs........Connie
