its scary how easily carbs go down....
Oh YEA!!
i have no trouble at all
with them..esp fries, chips, cookies, pretzels and popcorn
pasta fills me up quick though I try to avoid it all,
I have huge impulse control issues once I start.
Boy, can I relate to the impulse control issues. Luckily, flour-based carbs and rice make me feel icky, but I have found I can eat wild rice or potato with no problem so I know I really have to just avoid them.
I've gotten fries a few times post op and they feel so disgusting and greasy in my stomach. :(
Don't let it scare you, just accept that carbs go down easy and avoid them as much as possible. And don't snag food from other people - plate up what you can and should eat, and then eat your own food.
