NSV - cartwheels & handstand
I have just been loving my body lately -- more what it can do than what it looks like (but that is nice too!). I broke out in dance in my living room yesterday. At yoga yesterday, my instructor had us do handstands. They were fun -- I couldn't really hold it up long, but jeez it was fun.
Today at the park w/ my son I practiced hand stands and did cartwheels. It is crazy how much my extra weight was holding me back. Just playing now is so nice. We broke into an inpromptu game of tag. It was a great way to spend time w/ my son -- and even though it was gloomy out we had a great time.
Awesome!!! I don't think I've been able to do a cartwheel -ever-. Impressive.

Funny you say that. This summer at the beach I saw a young girl doing cartwheels and I wondered if I could do one. I got up like I was ten years old and started doing them...not well either. I looked ridiculous(I know this because it was video taped) but it was fun nonetheless. It is awesome being able to move more and having so much energy.

That's great Stacy. I think the only way I'll ever do a cartwheel is if I get pushed out of a moving train.
