So I'm thinking chili cheese dip would be ok during puréed stage...cream cheese hormel  chili and shredded cheddar melted...also the buffalo chicken dip would work to wouldn't it?..without the yummy chips of course...

That sounds like something I would have eaten (pureed, of course).  Although I'd have to read the ingredients on the chili, because chili could have sugar as an ingredient and that would be unnecessary.  So making your own might be better.  Buffalo chicken dip seems like it would be fine pureed as well.  At least it would have been for my guidelines.

I was wondering if I'd have to purée it...I thought it was kind of the same consistency as the ricotta bake...what do you think?

I would puree it.  I think that both dips are chunkier than pureed food should be.

When I make it I put the chicken in a food processor. It is pretty fine after that.
