Insurance approval process for Gastric Sleeve (Blue Cross Blue Shield)

Anyone in louisiana with bc/bs ever gone through this process?

I was wondering if you were  also require  to go through 6 month waiting period for sugery I been goin since October  got a pre approval  but no date yet  they say I have to go til April then they submit  paperwork  for final.approval has everyone  dealt with this ???? 

I too have experienced the same thing. I started the process just this month . Had my first visit feb 2 2017 so I have to go until July . BLBS of Tennessee required 7 months to wait .... so I won't officially be approved until July! Stick with it you'll be done sooner than me lol
