Vitamins?
My surgeon said to start taking my chewable multi vitamin at 4 weeks post surgery. I did on that one day and it was so disgusting I haven't been able to force myself to do it again. That was a week and a half ago! I bought the Bariatric Advantage berry flavored chewable vitamins. I know I need to take my vitamins so I'm wondering if anyone out there had a suggestion for something a bit less gross. I'm also going to contact my center and ask if it must be chewable at the is point and if it must be bariatric. Thanks in advance!
I think all the bariatric vitamins are gross. I was given a sample pack of about four different kinds and flavors of vitamins and they all tasted bad. I take the bariatric fusion cherry flavor. They are gross tasting but I get four down a day and just figure it is what I signed up for by having surgery. If someone finds a good vitamin let us all know.
Sadly two times zero is still zero. Flinstones is lacking at least a third of the vitamins and minerals we need.

I'm sorry, but your NUT is wrong in this case. I'm also sorry that I'm responding from my phone so I can't link you to the numerous articles (or even just the Flinstones label) which show how many of the recommended vitamins and minerals it doesn't contain.
Im not sure why someone would opt for such an incomplete vitamin when there are so many good complete options out there. Vitamin and mineral deficiency can be a very scary thing.
But don't take my word (or your NUT's) on this. Please, do your own research.

At my four month visit to surgeon and nutritionist , I was told I could resume taking whole pills, as long as they didn't cause me to be uncomfortable. So I have been taking multiple vitamins with minerals since then. 2 per day. Also I have to take calcium citrate 500mg with D3- 3 per day, and vitamin B12. This I was told was forever more.
