My gallbladder surgery had to be open. I go back to Dr Ellsmere on Sept 11th to see if I get to keep my spleen and also to find out when he plans on doing my hernia surgery .... Good luck!

TOTAL POUNDS LOST- 200 (110 pounds lost before surgery, 90 pounds lost Post Op.diabetes in remission-blood pressure normal-cholesterol and triglyceride levels normal! BMI from 55.6 supermorbidly obese to 23.6 normal!!!!

Good luck! A bad gallbladder is the worst! I am so happy I had mine out several years before my sleeve surgery!

I see you mentioned leaks? May I ask what happened and at what stage of your program

I'm having surgery on the 20th and that's the one thing I'm afraid of is leaks

Surgical error... Or weak tissue.. It was leaking post surgery, but, I think they were hoping it would heal on it's own...
