I hate food

I have a lot of crazy people in my family. As a result, I have gotten to witness a lot of how mental health industry works and my experience is that the only kind of therapy that works is (a) getting people with chemical imbalances (i.e., the seriously mentally ill) on the right drugs and (b) cognitive behavioral therapy for people who aren't actually mentally ill (i.e., you) but just have problems that they can't solve themselves.

Therefore, my recommendation would be to see someone who practices CBT if you aren't already.

And also give it time and be nice to yourself. Sometimes food just sucks and sometimes we're just worn out from fighting our battles and it's not worth being all tough and strong.

That's my 2 cents.

Perfect answer :). I think I will just wait until the dilation before changing too much. No one does from too many protein shakes. I'm in intensive therapy with A CBT focus right now but honestly just tackling a lot of cognitive stuff for the next few weeks (just as far as food and eating goes).

I know everything is temporary and I'll wish for this aversion at some point in my life but it really does stress me out :-p

Just my opinion, but if your body is not happy with food right now, don't pu**** There are worse things to fuel your body than protein shakes and yogurt. I hope that things get better, but keep hanging in there, and keep working on healing from the traumas of the past.

Hugs!

I wouldn't stress about it too much. You've certainly been dealing with a ton and you are working with a therapist so that's covered too. I will second the CBT. It works wonders, tho it is hard. So damn hard.

As long as you are feeding your body protein and vites, I say shakes are fine. I assume you've had labs recently and are fine in all those areas?
