You look gorgeous! You can see the difference. Yes, continue to take pictures and you will be amazed at the transformation when you reach goal.

Keep taking those pics.  It sure does show how well you are doing.

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

Great pics! Thanks for having the courage to share them. You can certainly tell a difference and it's only been a couple of months. Just wait till you lose the next 50...people will be wondering who they are talking to as you will look so radically different!

Keep fighting the good fight!

150 pounds gone for now! :-)  Initial goal weight of 170 lbs met on March 7, 2014.  My 44 year old bones survived hiking 4 days overland to a highest point of 4700 metres! Machu Picchu goal...CONQUERED!

Awesome progress so far!! And you have a beautiful family.

I made my daughter take progress picture on the 17th of every month when I was losing (my surgery was September 17, 2008). It definitely helped me see the progress I was making. They made me cringe when I had them taken, but now they do not. It was all a part of the journey. I have forgiven myself for the gain and have come to peace with the old me. I think that helps me stay at goal. The mental part is the most important.

Oh my goodness! Can't wait to see the new you 50 lbs down from this!

And, I guess you haven't had a problem with hair loss. That is one of my greatest fears!  I already have thin hair.  I want to be healthy and thinner, but not necessarily a healthy, thin bald woman!

I have seasonal shedding, I lose more strands in summer mostly...before it was discovered that my thyroid levels were low my hair was coming out in two handfuls at a time in the shower I invested in a cheap drain catcher, got put on some synthroid for my thryoid & started taking biotin daily about 2+ years ago.  I'm still so fresh out of VSG surgery so I don't know if the loss is coming or not...waiting game.  But thank you so much for your kind words.  Oh getting the dead ends trimmed off every month helps too, my Mom cuts mine...I'm going to do something different when I reach goal with my hair but right now I'm just going to keep it trimmed & continue with the biotin & synthroid & see how things go.  Blessings to you.

I just want to say a big ole THANK YOU to every single kind person who has commented about these pics.  It was a difficult decision for me to post them as I wanted to wait til goal to take before & afters.  But these are my progress so far & I wasn't sure a difference could be noticed until I looked at the side by side pics for myself.  I'm a work in progress with a long way to go but I'm getting there. Your kind words & encouragement mean so very much to me.  Thanks sweet people.
