Anyone 7 or 8 years post op... still succesful??
Yes you do. Cut out everything white. Period. You know the drill. Dense protein first, veggies IF you have room. If you can't eyeball everything for proportion, then weigh or measure. DOCUMENT all your food. You'll find yourself instantly responsible and back on the wagon. It's letting all the crap sneak in bite by bite....seemingly little nothings but here we are back battling again.
30 pounds is really doable. I can help walk you through it if you would like, PM me and we can put our heads together and get you moving in the right direction. There is no one on this site as far out as you that posts regularly. I understand why you are miserable, but I really think that this is simply to fix (not easy, but simple). Unless there are health issues involved, you can totally get back to your goal if you want to do it. Hugs
Like Elina, I am 5 years out at the end of the month. Cannot believe it. I gained 18lbs back during the past 18 months. I have succeeded in getting 10lbs back off recently. Still working on the other 8 and then going to see where I stand....and I think I'm going to try to really work this thing the next couple months and see how it goes. It's easier for me in the summer anyway.
