Wow !!!  That's incredible!!  Fantastic job!!    I am amazingly lucky to have few co-morbidities but I do have an irregular heartbeat (A-Fib)... My cardiologist said although its far from a guarantee, my sleep apnea may be causing the A-Fib and its possible that when the sleep apnea goes, the A Fib will go! THAT would be awesome because it is really a pain in the A$$ !!!!!

I also have AFib.  Have for a few years.   At my most recent cardiac work-up (I am under the care of one of the top EP Cardiologist in the Nation), my risk of a stroke is now less than 1 percent.  WOO-HOO!!!!

Great!!!  I saw an EP and he said he would consider an ablation once I got under 400... but he agreed with the other Cardiologist that losing the weight / apnea may fix it !!  A-Fib is a blast huh?? lol

Hi Stephen, all of the previous posters have given you great advise.  Your sleeve is only a tool and if you listen to the vets on here the possibilities are endless. I love my sleeve and life is great. I was on meds for diabetes blood pressure and cholesterol. I am off all meds and feel fabulous!  I wish you the best on your surgery 😄

I agree.. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the outpouring of support and the number of responses I have received! I wish I posted earlier!!   I go in for my pre-op testing (not sure what that involves) on Monday, and then 8 days after that is the big day!!!  :)    Thanks for the support and congrats on your success!!

Hi Stephen, I haven't had surgery yet and I am not your size but I can tell you I like to educate myself and I have seen T.V. shows called my 600 pound life people on that show weigh more than 600 pounds. And I can tell you based on them that they have the surgery the RNY one and never have I seen the doctor say no because they are to fat. I don't know how the sleeve would work but I would like to think if your doctor didn't think this would work for you then he wouldn't be doing it. Think positive. I'm sure everything will work out for you. Good luck and please keep us posted.

That is a very simplistic and logical way to think about it! I like it!   After a lot of research and speaking in person with my surgeon, I am inclined to agree. He feels very confident and said "Your life will change". I am elated. And, this pre-op diet has finally gotten easy!!!    10 more days!!!!!!!!!  Thanks for the positive note and good luck with your procedure!

My surgery is scheduled for the day after yours.  I found day two to be my most difficult on the liquids so far.  Day one was a breeze so I think I became overconfident and then felt down when I was hungry on day two.  I'm glad it has gotten better for both of us and I wish you the best of luck.
