I agree about Starbucks - it's nasty, bitter, and always tastes like coffee that has sat on the burner all day long.  We buy from a local shop that buys from a local roaster.  All the difference in the world!

It's amazing how once you get used to the good stuff, it's really hard to go back.  Alan also buys from a local roaster when he runs out of the Hawaiian coffee he buys from (of all places) our winery. The owner of the winery owns a coffee plantation in Hawaii and ships amazing coffee here for the winery members.

Hi all,

Well, I'm back from my cruise and back on plan after two weeks of travel and indulgent eating...

Breakfast - roasted chicken

Lunch - salmon and roasted cauliflower

Dinner - meatballs and cheese

water - ok

vitamins - on schedule

exercise - heading for that recumbent bike any time now!

    

Surgery May 1, 2013. Starting Weight 385,  Surgery Weight 333,  Current Weight 160.  At GOAL!

B/S: some dried fruit (banana, mango, apricot) maybe not the best choice but it was 1/2 serving

L: Antipasto Salad at a county cafeteria (I brought my own dressing)
