Back surgery - update

I just wanted to share with all my friends that I had back surgery on Friday. They surgery was quick and perfect and my recovery well....I'm managing the pain the best I can without a bunch of opiates.  I'm very mobile - I feel like I can walk forever. I just have a lot of pain getting up out of bed, recliner, couch, car etc.

im definitely bored eating.....but my calories stay between 12-1500. So I'll end up maintaining during the initial recovery. Can't complain.

Im super excited now bc my active life is finally on it's way back!!

Yay! Is this a follow up to the initial back surgery or has it been postponed this long? Either way, I'm so glad you're having some relief and heading back to the active woman you had become! Must feel like the tides are changing for you. So so glad!

Wonderful news!  Take it slow and easy--(from one who's been through two back surgeries that healed and have held up well for 14 years now)  Healing is where your focus needs to be- not how fast and furious you can get out into the fast lane.  Be kind to yourself!  Bonnie
