Surgeon just came in and told me it went well. He'll be in recovery for an hour and then I can see him.

Thank goodness we put him on my insurance because Aetna came back two weeks ago and said he wasn't fat enough (BMI 35) and his sleep apnea and blood pressure were "controlled". ********! He met all their criteria 6 months ago and they denied it even on appeal and dr. peer review.

Aetna just merged with Coventry and my doc says Coventry denies everything. Oh well - thank god for BCBS!

That's awesome. Was he really nervous? My hubby's surgery is scheduled for 4/28/14 and after watching me have mine done last week, he is more nervous than ever.
