Whatcha eating today VSGers? Saturday...
I will get the ball rolling...just wanted to report that my new food plan of 3 meals per day and nothing in between went really well yesterday. And - surprise - I had GREAT restriction :-)
B - 1 egg, 2 slices TJ pre-cooked bacon
L - 3 oz. tuna w/2 T. mayo, 1 SF bread & butter pickle
D - going to Ruby Tuesday's, will order tilapia w/mango salsa and grilled green beans
I should add that I drank a protein shake on the way to my OA meeting this morning

L - taco / chili bowl
S - 1/2 cookies & cream quest bar & protein shake (after lift)
D - buffalo turkey meatballs w/ carrots
S - Danon greek vanilla yogurt w/ strawberries (might skip this or put it in front of dinner - need to see about my hunger levels)
S - 1/2 quest bar (after hockey)
E - full body lift, hockey game
V - soon
W - a bit behind
Today is going to be a higher calorie day; I'm hoping to get at least 900. I'm going to be burning 1200+ calories, so need to get in extra protein.

I am back to my fighting weight and have a little more maneuverability with food this weekend.
B: Red tortillaless chicken soup
L: carpaccio salad at my favorite Italian restaurant
D: roasted calamari in wine sauce on a bed of faux mashed potatoes (cauliflower, caramelized onion and lite sour cream) I am entertaining a friend who never had VSG but eats as if she did. (Maybe that's why she never needed VSG :) ).
B - romaine lettuce wrap with sirloin, pickle relish, & honey mustard
L - scrambled eggs with Gruyere cheese, roasted edamame (err, the edamame is separate, I did not put roasted edamame into my scrambled eggs, that would be gross)
D - garlic basil sauteed scallops, grilled eggplant
Snacks - protein hot chocolate shake, 1/2 stick BBQ ostrich jerky, cashews, 1/2 container nonfat Greek yogurt with PB2 stirred in
Exercise - 30 Day Shred Level 3, 20 minutes walking, will do 15-20 minutes beginner level Pilates in a bit
Water - a little behind, need to catch up!
Vitamins - on track
B - Half a protein pancake with sugar free syrup, 1 turkey sausage link
L - Another turkey sausage link because those things are awesome, 0.5 oz. gouda
D - I bought shrimp! That will be delicious tonight!
S - Garden of Life raw vegan protein shakes (17g each, I will try to do 2, but will get at least 1)
E - Cleaning the whole darn house for in-laws visit this week (stress!!! stress!!! omg stress!!!)
WL - NONE!!! Been in a stall since 4.5 weeks out. I think I got my "3 week stall" a bit late. Ah well! I have lost some inches at least!
Note to self: Teach the husband how to use a darn food scale. I asked him to bring me a half ounce of my Gouda cheese while he was getting himself a snack, and he came out with at least 5 ounces on a plate and asked me "Is this enough?" Bless his heart! He's not used to my teeny portions yet, I guess. He keeps saying "Is that all you're gonna eat?" at dinner.
