unsure of how much or where to post
Since I'm very early in this process I feel like I'm not knowledgeable enough to comment on some posts and that maybe I'm too much of a newbie again to start posting on others. I just don't want people to feel like I'm stepping on toes. I've been on other forums where they get a little angry about newbies posting without having enough time in. I just want to make sure if there are any unsaid rules that I know them before I start posting a lot. When I was going to have surgery before I posted on the forums here every day because I appreciated the support and always tried to support others too.
Welcome! I think it's ok to post when you want. We all have opinions and I think the people on this site are very helpful and very nice. There is so much to learn at every stage of our weight loss journey. If there are unsaid rules I don't know about them and I have been on this site for almost a year!
Hi. I post on here. I haven't had surgery yet. Still have a little over 3 months to go. I read a LOT of posts form others. The posts in this forum have so much information that is motivational and helpful no matter what stage of the process you are in.

Post as much as you like and whichever forum you feel supported and comfortable at. Read a lot too - earlier posts, etc. There is a search feature (magnifying glass at the top right of the screen) where you can search by topic or key words. Very helpful! This forum is fantabulous!
Post as much as you want. Realize that when you do ask question that there may be people with a very passionate view. Take what you can use and just ignore the rest. It is great to see debates on here but they should not be personal attacks. What works for one person may not work for others. If you are curious about something and not sure if it has been discussed before, you can do a search on that topic and old threads will pop up. Welcome and good luck on your jouney. You are going to have up days, down days, and many days in between, you are going to "stall" and if you follow your plan you will get past it.
Post all you want! I lurked here for nearly 3 months before I first posted because I'm such an introvert. :)
Seriously, we all needed to ask the questions that have been asked a hundred times, to hear the same answers, to vent, to cry, to cheer and be cheered. The group here is awesome, and the discussions are valuable. This is way better than the IRL sessions I attended. We can be hinest and non judgmental here, and if someone is out of line, they can be blocked.
Learn, talk, grow, and then lose. This forum will help you do it all.
