Thanks Ryan, it is good to see you back on OH. I expected this to hurt much more that it does. Mike gets one next week. I'm not sure if you saw the original post, but we are taking part in a research project so the surgery is free. We just have to pay for meds and compression garments. Even though I really could use some more work done, this is a good start.

Does anyone know if insurance covers plastics when related to our weight loss? I'm no where near dealing with this situation since my surgery isn't until 11/20, but a tummy tuck is something I may want to do...

BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.

It will depend on your insurance company, and if there is a medical necessity or not. Mine is covered under the research study that Mike & I volunteered for.
