Been 2 Long Update...18 Months out, 200lb's Down (Lots of Pics)
Hi Everyone!!!!!
I have missed you all and its been way to long since I have last updated you guys on my journey. I'm on here everyday but more as a reader because work and life has been so busy. Many of you private message me on here or MFP and I respond back daily but its been hard finding time to do much more. :)
So how have I been? I've been ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! What once started out as a weight loss journey has turned into so much more. I am now a fitness fanatic and even got my certification to be a personal trainer... Don't have any plans on doing it as a profession as software development pays much better but I love fitness so much now that I wanted to do that for myself. I have maintained my weight loss really well by staying active and sticking to what I know works. Still, even now I plan ahead, measure everything, keep up on my water, and don't give myself reasons of why I should eat something that I know I shouldn't. I honestly just don't want that stuff in my life anymore. :)
For those of you that do not know me I'm Ryan. I started my journey about 2 years ago at my heaviest weight of 338lb's. I had the VSG February of last year and hit my goal weight in under 4 months. How'd I do it? The same way that most the people here hit there goals. I made a plan and stuck to it. I did not let anything or anyone steer me off course and lose sight of what I was trying to accomplish not just for me but for my family. And that was to get my life back..
I sit here now in the best shape of my life and happier than ever. I thank you all for the support you gave me through my journey and I consider you all family to me.
Here are some Before & After Pics... :)

Hi My sister from another mister!! LOL
Things have been soo crazy. I really need to start hanging out on the boards more. I'm so happy for you too as you have finally found a great guy "John" to treat you as you deserve.
I'm going to try and make it out to the OH Conference this weekend. I have a work meeting scheduled Friday that I couldnt get out of but its near Anaheim so I may be able to head over after. Not sure if you are going or not but if so maybe I'll see you there!
Love your pics Ryan! And the fitness thing! Wow! You look fabulous! How much did you lose post VSG? Not 200 lbs in 4 months I assume...you must have lost some serious weight pre op? Congrats and your wife is very pretty! You are super cute together!
