Pain that feels like my tummy bent in half

I am 5 years post op and about 2 weeks ago while sitting and then getting up I experienced a sharp pain on my left side...about ovary area. I thought...hmmm...maybe gas. I went to the RR and while just sitting there (sorry TMI) I had the most excruciating pain right under my left breast in my stomach area. It felt like my "banana shaped" tummy had folded in half. The pain lasted about a minute ( seemed like longer) and then I was able to partially stand with the folded feeling still occurring. I have a high pain tolerance so I just "breathed it out". 2 weeks later I still have "ovary area" pain when I stand up from sitting (more like where right above where my leg connects to my body) and the stomach pain is constantly present but feels more like pinching and dull aching and my lower left back hurts now too. I am thinking I should see a doctor...although I do not have one that knows my VSG history. Anyone have any ideas what this pain might be? I Googled left abdominal/back pain and I don't have all the symptoms of Crohns, and I certainly do not have an ectopic pregnancy. Several other things suggest blood in urine or stools and I do not have that. I do feel bad every time I eat. Thoughts or ideas? Tracy in Texas

regarding your ovary area pain could be cysts or fibroids.  

maybe you strained a muscle when you stood up?

of course going to a doctor might help.  i was told something like 80% of abdominal pain doesn't get diagnosed.  i went to the hospital one time with really bad pain in my left upper quadrant and blood tests came back normal and they sent me home.  i think it was muscular.

hope it goes away or you find out that it's something simple.

Kidney stones?

Sounds like you need to see a doctor.  Kidney infection?
