Wow, I can't believe it has been 11 months since I took my place on the bench. There have been so many NSV's, joyful moments, great meet-ups, activities, surprises, and much, much more. I want to thank the vets, and the newbies for inspiring me to live life with new eyes. It is so great to come to the forum and share these things with you all. I'm looking forward to sharing my next adventures with you too.

To those who are considering WLS, only you can decide if it is the right thing for you, but I personally have no regrets. This journey has been amazing so far.

Bless your heart. Thank you for the inspiration. My surgery is 8/19. Have to confess that 160 seems like years away and 138 seems like a pipe dream. Thanks Linda B from Linda C.

my surgery is august 22, 2013. I read posts all the time and I feel like I am a bit obsessive about it but reading posts like yours gives me great comfort. thank you
