NSV: It's been a long time comin'...
I've known it was coming for the last week but I was still excited to see 179.8 on the scale this morning.
My OH friends, do you know the last time I was in the 170's? At LEAST 21 years ago because I haven't seen that number since long before I turned 30. Wow, just...wow. I will welcome my first grandchild in November at a weight I haven't seen since her mother was a baby!
I was 10 weeks post-op as of yesterday and for the first time in my life I FEEL success is imminent! I can SEE myself at goal by the end of the year. Best of all, I won't have to spend another year (or day) of my life as a sick, obese woman.
I'm so grateful for having the courage to get this surgery, grateful for my family's love and support, and grateful to all of you for all the useful information I've received over the last few months. This forum is a huge key to my success!
AWESOME!!! Congratulations!! Isn't it great to see the scale and see hope?

That is great! Congratulations! Enjoy the grand baby! I have 2, my girl is 6 and my grandson is 3 from my son. My daughter is pregnant with her first due on Valentine's Day! It is SO much fun. They are one of my reasons I wanted to lose weight. I needed to be able to keep up! Ha! You'll be looking great and HEALTHY when your baby arrives! Happy days!
Congratulations. I can only dream of being in the 170's again. You are doing so well. Keep up the good work!
