1 year @ goal - ridiculously long, but with pics!

Thank you, Lee! I think of you and your surgeon when I think of my truth. It took me a long time to accept that as my truth, but I'm okay with it now. It's the hand I was dealt and I don't get to throw those cards away. However, VSG sure has stacked the deck a little more in my favor.

I miss seeing you! Are you and Sharon going to the Concord meeting again this month? If so, I will go, too! It's been ages since I've seen either of you!

 

I will check in with Sharon regarding when it is. I would love to meet up for dinner at Citra Grill before the meeting. Is that the place you discovered? We went there last month.

I have to say that your profile was one of the first profiles I saw on OH and it gave me the motivation to start my journey for a better me.  Now that I am on the 'losers bench' I will strive to meet my goals and be a healthier me for myself and my family.   I also read your post about your trip to Georgia and I had to laugh because I grew up there and a lot of my family loves to EAT. (Many are overweight) but the food there is sooooooo good. LOL. I'm just glad that I now live in a city that doesn't have a Waffle House.

Looks like you are doing great on your WL. Keep it up. Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad I was able to help you in some small way. That means a great deal to me. This is not an easy road to follow and knowing that I helped someone along the way makes it all very much worth it. In the end, helping one another help ourselves is what this is all about. I know I am certainly in debt to a lot of people here on OH!

Sparkly??? Are you cray!? I'm not doing well though... worst year of my life actually. BUT, back to you... you are HOT! :) I haven't seen a pic of you in a long time but last I remember you were at goal but thin looking, not all buff hunk status! *drool* Honestly, I think this is the best transformation I've seen.
