I have support group tonight so no work out for me.


I did talk to the trainer I mentioned yesterday.  She is actually moving at the end of the month but I am going to do 6 sessions with her before she leaves. She will  build a work out plan for me. Teach me how to vary it up and when to change weights.  I am SO excited. We start on Saturday!

My sessions with my trainer ran out last week and I decided to just go it alone.  Yesterday I did a full body workout, took me about an hour.  I woke up today and everything hurts slightly.  I think I am pushing myself just as hard as he did.  I might take today off, or not, I haven't decided yet.

Today, the dreaded Hill intervals.

1. Warmup - 20-30 minutes

2. 5 hill climbs of 3 minutes each at VO2 max power, 3 minute recovery in between

3. 20 minutes at Tempo power

4. cool down

I'm bummed... I was getting good at my work outs, now I have injured my Achilles and plantar fasciitis, so I am not allowed to put any weight on my right leg.

Any suggestions for something I could do? 

  I'm not where I want to be, but I am closer than I was yesterday!
