Ice Skating NSV...I think?

Well, I found out today that I really don't have any  "padding" left on my hips or butt. I was working on a new skating skill (toe pick work) and BAM, I hit that ice hard. I missed my crash pad too. Ouch, it stings and I'm sure I will have a bruise to show for my efforts. Since I am off for a few days this week, I'm back on the ice tomorrow. Competition is in 3 1/2 weeks

I know what you mean, I was black and blue for weeks when I was working on my jumps.  Like seriously bruised all up and down the sides of my thighs and my butt.

I hope someone is taping the competition, I would love to see you perform.

Well, I have a video camera, now I just need to show Mike how to use it.

Ouch!  I so much admire you! I have never been coordinated enough (even when thin) to ice skate....it must be SO cool to fly & jump & twirl around the rink!  So excited for you!
