Hi... new here, looking for advice...anyone go to Mexico for VSG?

Hi, I honestly thought the potential for me to ever have surgery was over. BUT recently I happened upon a Dr's site where he does this in Mexico. The cost is much less than here in the US and it would be a stretch, but I could afford it (if I can convince my husband). What do you all think???

Kelly-Anne had surgery in Mexicali with Dr. Aceves, and I will be there in August having mine. There are others here who have gone to Mexico. Do your research and go for it!

I went to Dr Aceves in Mexicali for my VSG last June, traveled with a friend for the same 3 months ago, and just came back (as far as San Diego) with my husband, who was sleeved this past Tuesday. We were dropped off at our hotel at noon, dumped our stuff and went shopping. This morning we headed out again (we love the bus system here) and bought some sleeve friendly things we can't get back home in Canada.

Yes, I'm a Dr Aceves fan. What would you like to know?
