One suggestion, even though you really liked this doctor - go get a few more opinions.  I ended up going with the first doc I saw, but a did referrals with 2 other docs.  You'll find the prices are about the same, but each one has their own approach and recommendations.  Heck, you've got the time, and the process gets easier every time you do it.  :)

Yup, definitely plan on getting at least 1 more opinion just to see...
