2.5 yrs. post-op. No regrets, with pics.
I can't believe how time flies. If there is anyone sitting on the fence: GO FOR IT! I had complications, read my profile. But, the things that are happening now, even 2 yrs. later is amazing. Be careful, b/c some habits will try to creep back in, now matter how dedicated you are. It's a daily battle. For me, exercise comes easy, as does regular food. The junk is my problem. Anyways, over 2 yrs. later, the pros are still outweighing any negativity that's happened. This is just a little encouragement for those still scared or straddling the fence with their decisions. I would say, I wish I would've done it sooner. But, truthfully I wouldn't have been ready for the changes. I'm just glad that I didn't put it off another year.
You are absolutely right when you say "but, truthfully I wouldn't have been ready for the changes" this takes a certain mindset and I know for ME I wouldn't be half as successful on the LONG TERM commitment had I had this surgery earlier then I did. Everything in his time.
You are doing amazing!! Continued success...
