Supportive and spouses with a sense of humor... oh, and SEX

Yeah, I figured SEX would get your attention. Dude, sex at 152 vs 375 is pretty freaking awesome. I'd been obese my entire life and have had only one partner (no, really!) so, while we had a pretty freaking rockin' sex life before, HOLY HELL. There are things we can do these days that would make a trapeze artist envious. I admit that a few months ago, things got a little awkward. Everything fit together differently and angles were weird and it was just... well, not all that good. Hey, our mantra was practice makes perfect though. About a month ago, things started to click again or whatever. Thank GAWD.

So, another post on here made me realize that we don't always give our spouses and significant others their due. I know I sometimes take for granted that my husband is just going to be supportive or he'll handle whatever while I deal with my own crap. And he does 99.9% of the time.

We have a very weird sense of humor. I have lost 223 pounds. It's mind-boggling. I don't think I truly thought about the sheer amount of skin that is left on my body. It's staggering. Seriously. I was getting dressed this morning and was naked, just got off the scale and had reached behind my back to scratch my itchy shoulder blade. He grabbed the shoulder blade bone that was sticking out and said, "totally weird, it's like a handle... I can drag you around by it like a caveman"

I then proceeded to grab a hand full of stomach skin, stretch it out and do a little jig and proclaimed "dude, it looks like I have bull testicles or something".... his response, "nice." LOL... I told you we were weird.

Seriously.. it's funny stuff like that that makes it all okay, at the end of the day.

So, yippee for those supportive folks in our lives!

You just about made me spew tuna salad all over my ipad!!!!  We also have a silly sense of humor.  Have to, right!!! Anyway, makes me think of the time I was jumping up and down in the bathroom and yelled out to my husband  (he's a band director)  Listen to the sounds I'm making with my body!!!!  I was cracking myself up and my husband who gave me the eye roll, a chuckle and an uh huh!

Hahahaha... oh good... thank goodness we aren't the only silly folks around here. Ya know... you may as well laugh. I mean, it's freaking funny stuff! We are lucky girls to have such sweet men in our lives :)

Hehehe... yeah, we have a twisted sense of humor. I dunno, ya know... too serious all the time is boring... may as well live it up.

Love this! My husband and I are pretty twisted. He loved me at my fattest and will love me at my smallest; Saggy skin and all. Oh and this morning, I'll tell ya. Things seemed to reach much easier after losing 44 pounds. I can't wait. I still have 68 pounds to go. Ooohhh the possibilities!
