I start my Liver Shrink diet on May 1st and I've been trying to sub my breakfast for protein shakes...Man I'm so hungry LOLOL!!! On my way to get the protein shake this morning, my brain kept telling me I wanted a hamburger. I almost went to Krystal's, but I fought it out...I figured at some point I would have to tell my head NO!

Hang in there.  The liver shrink diet sucks, for sure.  But it is doable and well worth it.  You can do it!!

I have been having the protein shake for lunch for months so adding one for breakfast will not be to bad for me and I get to have a tv dinner for dinner on my plan so I think it will be fine when I start the liver shrink

Today was my very 1st protein shake. It was ok buttttttt, my co worker was eating Burger King & the smell go to me. I am sitting here in the lab trying to refocus and imagine this shake being very fulfilling, lol. Bless it...I can do this!!

Great job! You have to tell your head NO the rest of your life, it doesn't stop after surgery. Get in the habit now. There have been a few days where I could really have eaten a cheeseburger and you just have to ask yourself WHY did you go through surgery if you are just going to say screw it and eat a cheeseburger. It has saved me more than a few times.

I know it's going to be tough, this is why I have to start ahead of time. Next week I'm going sugar free on the beverages...whewwwww we...I'm excited. It's time for me to start telling myself NO! Enough is enough!!
